Abstract: Starting from the viewpoint of Zhang Zhongjings “Jin Gui Yao Lue” that “unsmooth blood circulation results in water retention”, based on the relationship between “Qi”, “Blood” and “fluids” embodied in the theory, to explore the guiding role of this theory in the treatment of pulmonary nodules. The main manifestation of pulmonary nodules is “blood disease”, and its pathogenesis is also closely related to “qi disease” and “water disease”. Professor Luo Sheng believes that the main mechanism of pulmonary nodules is the metabolic disorder of qi, blood and water transmission and distribution, obstruction of the lung channels, and the loss of harmony between qi and blood, so the nodules are formed. In the treatment, we inherited Zhang Zhongjings academic thought and in clinic, qi, blood and water can be treated together to obtain good curative effect. This article introduces the experiences of Professor Luo Shengs application of “Unsmooth Blood Circulation Resulting in Water Retention”in medication, and one case of palpitations was provided.
