Treatment of endometriosis of the abdominal wall based on the theory of Qi-blood-water

    Abstract: Abdominal wall endometriosis (AWE) is a special type of endometriosis ,occurring in the superficial part of the abdominal wall. Based on the theory of Qi-blood-water, this paper discussed the etiology and pathogenesis of AWE as well as its treatment, its pathogenesis is highly related to cesarean section, the trauma of gold blade is its triggering factor, and it is caused by the agglomeration of qi, blood and water in the abdominal wall, its treatment is based on activating the blood and eliminating the symptoms of AWE, dredging up the liver to move the qi and invigorating the spleen and inducing the flow of water, combining the characteristics of the disease of superficial location and difficult to be healed, the internal and external combination of treatments and long-term management, with obvious clinical efficacy. The clinical efficacy of the treatment was obvious, in hopes of provide useful ideas and references for the Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases with obstruction and accumulation in the abdomen.
