    Abstract: Lung nodules, as the main lesions before lung cancer occurs, from the concept of prevention of disease before it occurs and prevention of change in existing disease in Chinese medicine, we believe that early detection, early intervention and early treatment of lung nodules are the important gateways for prevention and treatment of lung cancer. Chinese medicine complex pathology is a unique existence in the theoretical system of traditional medicine in China, with its strict theory and considerable clinical efficacy, which can provide complementary ideas in Chinese medicine pro-disease lung nodules. In this paper, we identify and treat pulmonary nodules from the perspective of Chinese medicine complex pathology, grasping the basic pathomechanism of its accumulation, pointing out that phlegm and blood stasis run through the beginning and the end of pulmonary nodule lesions, advocating both symptomatic and fundamental treatments, combining disease and evidence, and adapting to the needs of each individual.
