Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of single-port laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal surgery. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 145 patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery for ovarian cysts in our hospital from January 2023 to June 2024.Among them, single-port laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy + oophoroplasty was performed in the single-port group (The number of cases was 67), and traditional multi-port laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy + oophoroplasty was performed in the multi-port group (The number of cases was 78).Clinical indicators during and after surgery in the two groups were recorded and compared. Results Neither group was converted to laparotomy,Single-port laparoscopic group and multi-port laparoscopic group 110.0 (90.0, 126.0) min vs. 81.0 (60.0, 106.0) min, Z = 4.337, P <0.001, 1 day postoperative pain was scored by numerical evaluation scale 0 (0, 1.0) points vs. 0 (0, 2.0) points, Z = 2.303, P=0.021,The results suggest that the single-port group has a longer operation time but less postoperative pain.Intraoperative blood loss 50.0 (20.0, 50.0) ml vs. 40.0 (20.0, 50.0) ml, postoperative exhaust time 22.00 (18.31, 25.43) h vs. 21.44 (17.51, 23.81) h, postoperative hospital stay 4.0 (3.0, 4.0) d vs. 4.0 (3.0, 5.0) d, hospitalization cost 14965.26 ( 13456.63, 16095.21) vs. 14027.65 (12220.89, 16309.93) yuan, were not significantly different between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no abdominal wall vascular or nerve injury in the two groups, and no complications such as incision infection, intestinal obstruction, and venous thrombosis of the lower limbs occurred after surgery, and the incision healed well. Further followed-up for three months after discharge, it was found that either surgical procedure had no significant effect on the patients menstruation, and there was no short-term recurrence of ovarian cysts in either case. Conclusion The single-port laparoscopic technique for the treatment of ovarian cyst incision is concealed and beautiful, the postoperative pain is lighter, No obvious effect on menstruation, and the curative effect is definite and safe, which is worthy of clinical promotion and popularization.
