    Abstract: Objective Analyze the diagnostic value of serum microRNA-181b, long non coding RNA (lncRNA) myocardial infarction association transcript (MIAT) in hypertensive nephropathy (HN). Method A total of 120 patients with essential hypertension (EH) who visited our hospital from October 2022 to October 2024 were selected and divided into the HN group (52 cases) and the simple hypertension group (68 cases) based on the ratio of urinary albumin to urinary creatinine. Additionally, 60 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group. The expression levels of miR-181b and lncRNA MIAT in the serum of each group were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. The serum inflammatory factor indicators, including high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), and interleukin-6(IL-6), were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results The levels of hs-CRP, TNF-α, and IL-6 in the HN group were significantly higher th
