Abstract: Neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) is a general neonatal brain injury disease because of perinatal asphyxia or hypoxia. At present, the diagnosis and prognosis of HIE are mainly based on clinical manifestations, imageological examination and electrophysiological detection. But the time for examination would miss the early and effective mild hypothcrima for children. As a result, more and more research is focusing on the search for biomarkers that can be available early in the disease. In this paper, various serum biomarkers of neonates with HIE were comprehensively described so as to identify neonatal brain injury early, guide clinical decision and improve the prognosis.
