Abstract: By understanding the doctors experience and needs for the practice of narrative medicine, we explore the feasible framework and model for the practice of narrative medicine.Using descriptive phenomenology paradigm, 15 clinicians were interviewed by sampling method, and the data were analyzed according to Colaizzi 7-step analysis method. There are three main themes: There are differences in cognition of practicing narrative medicine(Difference of narrative knowledge level, difference of narrative ability, difference of practice degree);Positive willingness to practice (can strengthen the doctor-patient relationship, can strengthen professional identity, can improve scientific research ability);Expectations of ability development (expectations of the teaching content; Expectations for teaching style; Expect narrative medicine to form a normative model).Clinical narrative medicine training framework can focus on close reading and writing in traditional teaching links, encourage doctors in clinical practice to be physically and mentally present, and regularly participate in case sharing.
