Research on Online Psychological Consultation Users’ Preference for Doctor Selection——Based on the Discrete Choice Experiment

    Abstract: Abstract: Objective: To investigate the preferences and willingness to pay of online psychological counseling users. Methods: Based on the discrete choice experiment, self-designed questionnaires, randomly distributed online questionnaires, surveyed the respondents on online psychological counseling users preference and willingness to pay, and used the hybrid Logit model for data analysis. Results: For the survey subjects aged 18-35, the gender of the physician, the medical title, the level of the doctor’s hospital, the completeness of personal information, the form of consultation, the speed of consultation, and the number of people served in the past two weeks are all selected by online psychological counseling users Medical behavior has an important impact. The survey respondents are willing to pay ¥88.829 to improve the level of medical institutions; to pay ¥79.309 yuan for physicians seeking a high level of online information disclosure; and to pay ¥38.169 to switch from graphic consultation to telephone consultation. Conclusion: Based on the preference of online psychological counseling patients in choosing doctors, the platform should establish sound incentives to attract doctors from high-level medical institutions, reasonably set up comprehensive evaluation indicators for doctors to increase the online exposure of lower-level doctors; pay attention to the selection of people with different types of diseases According to the preference of doctors’ gender, set the gender composition of department doctors reasonably; give more attention to patients seeking second medical opinion.
