Abstract: :Electroencephalogram (EEG), as a non-invasive method to measure the electrical activity of the brain, has the advantage of being able to record the changes in brain waves under pain stimuli in real time, thus revealing the relationship between pain perception and brain activity. The number of studies combining EEG with pain-evoking experiments has claimed to be on the rise in recent years, with the aim of more accurately understanding and measuring the neurophysiological mechanisms of pain. The aim is to more accurately understand and measure the neurophysiological mechanisms of pain. As research progresses, a variety of pain-evoking experiments have been developed, including electrical, temperature, and mechanical stimulation. This combination is often applied to pain modulation mechanisms, such as the processing of pain in response to cognitive factors or emotional states, allowing us to enhance our understanding of the neural basis of pain and opening up the possibility of developing new pain treatment str
