Clinical efficacy and safety of Esomeprazole combined with Biling Weitong granules in the treatment of EPS

  Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of esomeprazole combined with Biling weitong granules in the treatment of epigastric pain syndrome (EPS), and to provide reference for the comprehensive treatment of EPS. Methods 114 patients with EPS treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Science and Technology from January 2024 to June 2024 were selected and randomly divided into 57 observation group and 57 control group. The control group was given oral esomeprazole enteric-coated tablet, and the observation group was given combined treatment with Biling Weitong granule on the basis of the control group, and the treatment was continued for 8 weeks. Peripheral blood of patients in the two groups were collected before treatment and 8 weeks after treatment, and the level of gastrin-17 (G-17) in peripheral blood of patients in the two groups was detected respectively.
