Abstract: Objective: To analyze the diagnosis and treatment process of a child with lupus nephritis, and explore the clinical efficacy and safety of biological preparations combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation formulas in the treatment of lupus nephritis. Method: Report on the clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, and diagnosis and treatment process of a child with lupus nephritis who presented with gross hematuria. Through summarizing and analyzing the improvement of clinical symptoms before and after treatment, adjustment of basic medication, serum complement, urine tests, and other indicators, discuss the clinical efficacy, safety, and advantages of belimumab combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation formula in the treatment of pediatric lupus nephritis.Result: The combination of belimumab and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation formula can quickly control the clinical symptoms, hematuria, proteinuria levels, and disease activity of children with lupus, and reduce disease recurrence. Conclusion: For refractory lupus nephritis, the combination of belimumab and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation formula can be used to control the condition and reduce disease recurrence.
