Abstract: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic, recurrent inflammatory skin disease commonly seen in infants, young children, and adolescents. Its recurrent and prolonged course can severely impact the physical and mental health of affected children. In recent years, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has gained widespread attention for its efficacy in treating AD. Clinical treatments based on the theory of the heart and spleen, focusing on clearing the heart, strengthening the spleen, dispelling dampness, and relieving itching, have shown significant therapeutic effects for pediatric atopic dermatitis. This paper introduces the treatment approach and clinical experience, aiming to provide a reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of pediatric AD.
