Exploring medication rules and mechanism for liver cancer based on data mining and network pharmacology

    Abstract: Purpose/Significance To explore the drug rules and core drug mechanism of national patents for the treatment of liver cancer through data mining and network pharmacology. Method/Process Establish a database of liver cancer compound patents. Excel, IBM SPSS Modeler, Cytoscape, Origin, and Rstudio were used to analyze frequency, efficacy, taste, clustering, and association rules for exploring drug rules and core drug pairs. TCMSP, OMIM, and GeneCards databases were used to collect effective active ingredients, targets, and disease targets, and STRING databases were used to collect intersecting targets, key targets, and PPI network diagrams. Analyze the enrichment of GO and KEGG and predict the binding performance of effective active ingredients and key genes by micro-bio-informatics platform and molecular docking method. Result/Conclusion The national compound patent for the treatment of liver cancer focuses on the simultaneous regulation of the liver and spleen, detoxification and inhibition of cancer, blood circulation and blood stasis. Astragalus and Scutellaria barbata may treat liver cancer through multi-component, multi-target, and multi-pathway.
