  Abstract: AbstractObjective:To scientifically analyze and objectively evaluate long-term care insurance policies from the perspective of common prosperity, the paper explores the existing problems and optimization paths of long-term care insurance policies in China, to provide theoretical and practical basis for the new round of policy formulation and optimization. Methods: The study adopted a quantitative methods for policy text, using the PMC index model to construct a comprehensive evaluation system for long-term care insurance policies, and conducted a quantitative evaluation of the policies issued by the central government and the first batch of pilot provincial governments from 2016 to 2022. Conclusion: The legal and regulatory support system for long-term care insurance is not insufficient; In terms of fund raising, there is a high degree of dependence on medical insurance funds, and individual payment responsibilities need to be further enhanced; The coverage of long-term care insurance is still insufficient and rural areas face difficulties such as a lack of professional nursing institutions and insufficient nursing personnel. We should strengthen the top-level design of long-term protection insurance policies, promulgate relevant laws and regulations as soon as possible, and improve policy implementation rules; Give play to the role of incentive policy tools, promote the prosperity and development of the long-term care insurance market, and meet the diverse long-term care needs of the masses; Realize diversified financing of long-term care insurance funds, establish and improve fund regulatory mechanisms, and enhance sustainable development capabilities; Guided by common prosperity, expand coverage for urban and rural residents, promote the construction of rural long-term care insurance service capacity system, and help achieve common prosperity.
