Research on the impact of participating internet medical service on the value co-creation intention of chronic disease patients

    Abstract: Purpose/Significance To explore the impact of participating internet medical service on the value co-creation intention of chronic disease patients, and to provide suggestions for chronic disease service providers and internet medical service developers. Method/Process The method of questionnaire survey is used to investigate the chronic disease patients of 7 community healthcare center in Wuhan and 387 valid questionnaires are collected. The sample data analysis uses the structural equation model analysis. Result/Conclusion Innovativeness, optimism and discomfort have significant effects on internet medical service use intention, internet medical service use intention, perceived benefit and health self-efficacy have significant effects on value co-creation intention. Chronic disease service providers can improve themselves through cultivating innovativeness, promoting optimism perceptions, to improve chronic disease patients’ value co-creation intention.
