Abstract: In order to study the content and quality of health communication in Chinas We Media , 5572 pieces of health-related information in 4 sections of Todays Headline were collected and analyzed in terms of disseminators, audiences, communication effects and quality . It was found that Todays Headline has become an important health information dissemination platform, but the certification rate of disseminators is not high and imbalanced between sections; the supply and demand of health information is not balanced that is manifested as the number of disseminators who provide information on Covid-19 and schizophrenia is smaller while these information is needed by more audiences. It is recommended that the disseminators increase provision of information on those highly needed topics and that Todays Headline strengthens its authentication of disseminators and the quality supervision of disseminated information.
