The application and challenges of health and medical big data in the field of precision medicine

  Abstract: Based on the integrated processing and analysis, health and medical big data can promote the application of precision medicine in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various diseases. Thus, it may play a role in optimizing healthcare resources, reducing ineffective or excessive treatment, and improving the efficiency and quality of medical services. Health and medical big data has become a key to the in-depth development and application of precision medicine. This study discussed the application of health and medical big data in the field of precision medicine and the challenges it faced. The findings are of great significance for the improvement of utilization efficiency of big data in healthcare field, inspiration of future research directions, and promotion of further precision medicine application.
