Young Chemotherapy Resistant Choriocarcinoma：Case Report and Literature Review

  Abstract: Gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) is highly sensitive to chemotherapy, but there are still some high risk and ultra-high risk patients who are resistant to chemotherapy or have repeated relapses, and resulted in death. Clinical treatment for these patients is very challenging. This article reports a case of a young chemotherapy resistant trophoblastic tumor patient admitted to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital (our hospital) affiliated with Capital Medical University. Through reviewing relevant literature and the latest progress, this article aims to improve the understanding of this disease, identify chemotherapy resistant patients early, provide multiple treatment strategies, and make the initial treatment effect and prognosis.
