Correlation analysis betweensevere acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection and Henoch Sch?nlein purpura nephritis

    Abstract: abstract:HSPN is a secondary glomerular disease characterized by abnormal deposition of IgA deposits on the renal vascular wall, and is the main cause of mortality in allergic purpura. Since the spread of COVID-19, many cases of virus infection or HSPN after COVID-19 vaccination have been reported. This article analyzes the correlation between them. The results showed that COVID-19 and HSPN had some clinical relevance. COVID-19 could invade the kidney through angiotensin converting enzyme 2, change the content of nitric oxide, and change the vascular environment. The stuttering infection in the later stage of infection amplifies the inflammatory response and triggers a cytokine storm. HSPN may be triggered by cross reaction and bystander activation after COVID-19 vaccination.
