Abstract: Objective Analyze the expression of CPNE1 and ZWILCH in the progression of lung adenocarcinoma and their correlation with prognosis. Methods A total of 125 lung adenocarcinoma patients diagnosed in our hospital from January 2020 to March 2021 were selected, the positive expression levels of CPNE1 and ZWILCH in cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry, and the expression differences of CPNE1 and ZWILCH in the evolution of lung adenocarcinoma were analyzed. The correlation of CPNE1 and ZWILCH and the prognosis of patients with lung adenocarcinoma were analyzed, the survival curves were drawn by Kaplan-Meier method, and the risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients by Cox univariate and multivariate analysis. Results The positive rates of CPNE1 and ZWILCH in lung adenocarcinoma tissues were higher than those in paracancer tissues (P < 0.05). The positive rates of CPNE1 and ZWILCH were increased in patients with stage III-IV, poorly differentiated, pleural invasion, vascular cancer thrombus, and lymph node metastasis of lung adenocarcinoma (P<0.05). After analyzing the relationship between the positive expression of CPNE1 and ZWILCH and the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma patients, it was found that the overall survival rate of the CPNE1 positive group was lower than that of the CPNE1 negative group (P<0.05), and the overall survival rate of the ZWILCH positive group was lower than that of the ZWILCH negative group (P<0.05). Cox multivariate analysis showed that stages III-IV, low differentiation, CPNE1 positive, and ZWILCROC curves showed that the AUC of CPNE1 combined with ZWILCH in predicting the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma patients was 0.934, significantly higher than that of CPNE1 and ZWILCH alone, with a predictive sensitivity of 91.09% and specificity of 87.89%. Conclusion CPNE1 and ZWILCH gradually increase in the progression of lung adenocarcinoma, and their positive expression is a risk factor for the prognosis and survival of lung adenocarcinoma patients, or can be used as auxiliary evaluation indicators for the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma patients.
