    Abstract: Purpose/Significance: This article aims to explore the changes, challenges, key application scenarios, and future development directions of generative artificial intelligence represented by ChatGPT in the field of hospital management, providing reference for the application of artificial intelligence natural language processing technology in the field of hospital management in China. Method/Process: Through literature review and analysis, the changes and challenges brought about by the widespread development of ChatGPT in the field of hospital management were sorted out, and its key application scenarios and future development directions in the field of hospital management were emphasized and explored. Result/Conclusion: Artificial intelligence has broad application prospects in the field of hospital management, but it still faces a series of challenges. In its future practical applications, it is necessary to balance advantages and limitations to meet challenges and reduce risks. The focus is on exploring its practical application scenarios and strategic directions in the field of hospital management, in order to better provide reference and guidance for hospital managers to respond to artificial intelligence and promote high-quality development of public hospitals.
