Analysis of the development of Chinas Internet medical advertising and countermeasures based on SWOT-PEST

  Abstract: Objective/Implications As an emerging thing in the field of healthcare, Internet medical advertising has both opportunities and challenges for its development. It is important to study in depth the internal and external factors of the development of Internet medical advertising in China. Methods/Process This paper uses SWOT-PEST analysis to explore the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of the development of Internet medical advertising in China from four aspects: political environment, economic environment, social environment and technological environment, and to provide suggestions for the development of Internet medical advertising. Results/Conclusion Medical and health institutions should grasp the development trend of Internet medical advertising, strengthen technical support, and relevant regulatory departments should increase supervision, improve regulatory mechanisms, and focus on the training of relevant professionals.
