Major construction of Medical Information Engineeringunder the background of new engineering education

  Abstract: The construction of new engineering education f medical information engineering major has problems such as immature training programs, imperfect training processes, and inconsistent evaluation standards for talent training. Based on the construction of new engineering education ion engineering major of Sichuan University carries out education and teaching reform around the major needs of the national strategy of healthy China and the reform of diagnosis and treatment technology. Relying on the advantages of electronic information discipline and biomedical engineering discipline, the major deepens the comprehensive reform of medical information engineering; Strengthen the construction of practical teaching links based on the multi-level teaching mode of integration of medicine and education and school-enterprise cooperation; Formulate student-centered, outcomes-based, continuous improvement undergraduate teaching quality standards, strengthen the construction of professional teaching quality assurance system, promote all-round teaching reform of teachers, and pursue excellent undergraduate education quality. Through exploration and practice, Sichuan University has achieved remarkable results in the reform of medical information engineering, and was approved as a national first-class undergraduate major construction site in 2022.
