Medical and healthcare resources in county: Resources assessment, function orientation and optimization path

  Abstract: Objective: To study the optimization path of county medical and healthcare resources based on the assessment of the current status. Methods: Descriptive statistics and literature review based on statistical yearbooks and research reports. Results: In recent years, medical and healthcare resources in the county have become increasingly abundant, but imbalance, low quality, and institutional problems still exist widely. Conclusion: At present and in the future, we should gradually abandon the inertial thinking of pursuing the big and all-embracing, differentiate the orientation and different types of health functions at the county, county level and below the county level in accordance with the characteristics of the county population size, administrative division, geographical location, traffic accessibility, etc.
