Abstract: Objective: In the process of hospital informatization construction, research and design a hospital network architecture that combines stability and scalability to provide secure and reliable network services for hospital information systems and meet the needs of future informatization business expansion. Methods: The simulation takes a Third-class hospital’s network architecture in Xuzhou city as an example, and employs EVE-NG virtual simulation platform to implement the combination of Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) and Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), the reasonable planning of routing area by using Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) , and the access to the Internet through Port Address Translation (PAT) technology. Results: The simulation project realizes the load balancing and redundancy, the routing area is reasonably divided, and the port can be reused when accessing the Internet. Conclusion: Through the design and Simulation of the hospital network architecture, the architecture possesses the characteristics of stability and scalability that can prevent the routing loops automatically, make rational use of resources and recovery of informationalized Business.
