Research Progress on Autophagy-Dependent Ferroptosis in Cancer

• 摘要：自噬是发生在细胞和组织再生中的的一个重要过程,其在多种肿瘤细胞中呈现出不同的作用机制,铁死亡是一种铁积累、脂质过氧化过度引起的非程序性细胞死亡方式,而过度自噬能够激发癌细胞发生铁死亡,此种死亡方式称为自噬依赖性铁死亡。自噬依赖性铁死亡作为一种新兴的细胞死亡机制,本文主要对近几年通过天然化合物、纳米材料和基因干扰等手段抗肿瘤作用机制进行阐述,旨为抗肿瘤提供新的手段及思路。

  Abstract: Autophagy is a vital process involved in cellular and tissue regeneration, exhibiting various mechanisms of action in different tumor cells. Ferroptosis is a form of non-apoptotic cell death characterized by iron accumulation and excessive lipid peroxidation. Excessive autophagy can trigger ferroptosis in cancer cells, a phenomenon referred to as autophagy-dependent ferroptosis. As an emerging mechanism of cell death, this article primarily elucidates the anti-tumor mechanisms of autophagy-dependent ferroptosis through recent advancements involving natural compounds, nanomaterials, and gene interference, aiming to provide new strategies and insights for cancer therapy.
