Construction of CPC case Bank and Its application in Clinical Pathology Teaching of Medical undergraduates

Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical pathological discussions (clinicalpathologicalconference, CPC) cases of library building in the application of medical undergraduates in clinical pathology teaching effect. Methods From April 2023 to May 2024, 90 undergraduate students of clinical medicine major in Capital Medical University in 2019 and 2020 were selected as research objects and divided into experimental group (n = 45) and control group (n = 45) according to different teaching methods. The results of the two groups were compared, and the evaluation of the experimental group students on the teaching method of CPC case bank was investigated. Results The test scores and total scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The theoretical score of the experimental group was (78.59±4.72) points, higher than that of the control group (76.52±4.25) points, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The case bank score of the experimental group was (88.79±3.27) points, higher than that of the control group (83.53±2.78) points, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of CPC case bank teaching method in clinical pathology teaching of medical undergraduates is helpful to improve the students level of theory and case analysis and improve the learning effect.
