Load balancing scheduling method for 3D printing workshop based on improved genetic algorithm

    Abstract: Purpose/Significance to shorten the waiting time and balance the load of each machine in the production activities of customized medical devices, the evolutionary scheduling method of load balancing is proposed and utilized. Method/Process by analyzing the influencing factors under the time dimension, the mathematical model of double-objective multi-constraint optimization problem is established, and the load balancing operator is introduced. Then, the load balancing evolutionary scheduling algorithm is used to solve the model. Result/Conclusion the load balancing evolutionary scheduling method with load balancing operator is superior to other algorithms in task waiting time and load balancing performance. Especially in large-scale tasks, the proposed algorithm is effective. This method can effectively shorten the task waiting time and achieve machine load balancing.
