Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Tertiary General Hospital in Nanjing: a Geographical Analysis Based on GIS

    Abstract: Tyson polygon,Average nearest neighbor analysis and Ripley′s K function were used to describe and analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of tertiary general hospital in Nanjing. The maximum area of the Tyson polygon is 285 times the minimum area. The nearest neighbor ratio NNR was 1.0097,Z=0.0923,P=0.9264. When weighted with the reciprocal of population densities of districts,the observed K value was significantly lower than the expected K value.When only the spatial location is considered,the distribution of tertiary general hospital in Nanjing tends to be randomly distributed; While weighted with the reciprocal of population densities,the distribution becomes discrete.
